Был голод в земле, сверх прежнего голода, который был во дни Авраама; и пошел Исаак к Авимелеху, царю Филистимскому, в Герар.
There was hunger in the ground, over former hunger, which was in the days of Abraham; And Jesaac went to Avimelehe, the king of the Philistine, to Gerar.
Господь явился ему и сказал: не ходи в Египет; живи в земле, о которой Я скажу тебе,
The Lord appeared to him and said: do not go to Egypt; Live in the ground that I will tell you,
странствуй по сей земле, и Я буду с тобою и благословлю тебя, ибо тебе и потомству твоему дам все земли сии и исполню клятву, которою Я клялся Аврааму, отцу твоему;
We are traveling to this land, and I will be with you and bless you, for you and the offspring of your lats all the lands of Seia and I will fulfill the oath, which I swore Abraham, your father;
умножу потомство твое, как звезды небесные, и дам потомству твоему все земли сии; благословятся в семени твоем все народы земные,
Multiply the offspring is yours, like the stars of heaven, and let your descendant of your lands of this; Blessed in your seed all the nations of the earth
за то, что Авраам послушался гласа Моего и соблюдал, что Мною заповедано было соблюдать: повеления Мои, уставы Мои и законы Мои.
For the fact that Abraham was obeyed by the reading of mine and observed that I was commanded to observe: my commandments, my charters and my laws.
Исаак поселился в Гераре.
Isaac settled in Gerara.
Жители места того спросили о жене его, и он сказал: это сестра моя; потому что боялся сказать: жена моя, чтобы не убили меня, думал он, жители места сего за Ревекку, потому что она прекрасна видом.
Residents of places asked his wife, and he said: This is my sister; Because I was afraid to say: my wife, so that he did not kill me, he thought, the residents of this place for Rebek, because she was beautiful.
Но когда уже много времени он там прожил, Авимелех, царь Филистимский, посмотрев в окно, увидел, что Исаак играет с Ревеккою, женою своею.
But when he has already lived there, Avimelheh, the king of the Philistine, looking out the window, saw Isaac plays with Rebek, his wife.
И призвал Авимелех Исаака и сказал: вот, это жена твоя; как же ты сказал: она сестра моя? Исаак сказал ему: потому что я думал, не умереть бы мне ради ее.
And called by Avimeleh Isaac and said: That's what your wife is; How did you say: is she my sister? Isaac told him: Because I thought, would not die for her for her.
Но Авимелех сказал: что это ты сделал с нами? едва один из народа не совокупился с женою твоею, и ты ввел бы нас в грех.
But Avimeleh said: What did you do with us? Untime, one of the people did not coincide with his wife, and you would introduce us to sin.
И дал Авимелех повеление всему народу, сказав: кто прикоснется к сему человеку и к жене его, тот предан будет смерти.
And he gave airline commanding to all people, saying: who will touch the person and to his wife, he will be dedicated.
И сеял Исаак в земле той и получил в тот год ячменя во сто крат: так благословил его Господь.
And I sowed Isaac in the land of Tom and got the barley for a hundred times: so blessed his Lord.
И стал великим человек сей и возвеличивался больше и больше до того, что стал весьма великим.
And there was a great man of this and exalted more and more before it became very great.
У него были стада мелкого и стада крупного скота и множество пахотных полей, и Филистимляне стали завидовать ему.
He had herds of small and herd of large livestock and many arable fields, and the Philistines began to envy him.
И все колодези, которые выкопали рабы отца его при жизни отца его Авраама, Филистимляне завалили и засыпали землею.
And all the wells that the slaves of his father died at the lifetime of his father Abraham, the Philistines were poured and fell asleep.
И Авимелех сказал Исааку: удались от нас, ибо ты сделался гораздо сильнее нас.
And Avimelheh said Isaaku: succeeded from us, for you have become much stronger than us.
И Исаак удалился оттуда, и расположился шатрами в долине Герарской, и поселился там.
And Isaac retired from there, and was located on tents in the Gararian valley, and settled there.
И вновь выкопал Исаак колодези воды, которые выкопаны были во дни Авраама, отца его, и которые завалили Филистимляне по смерти Авраама; и назвал их теми же именами, которыми назвал их отец его.
And again dug out Isaac Water well, which died were in the days of Abraham, his father, and who were filtered off by the death of Abraham; And called them the same names that their father called him.
И копали рабы Исааковы в долине и нашли там колодезь воды живой.
And they dug the slaves of Isaac in the valley and found there the well water alive.
И спорили пастухи Герарские с пастухами Исаака, говоря: наша вода. И он нарек колодезю имя: Есек, потому что спорили с ним.
And the shepherds of Gerarian with the shepherds of Isaac argued, saying: Our water. And he nare the name of the name: Esk, because they argued with him.
выкопали другой колодезь; спорили также и о нем; и он нарек ему имя: Ситна.
Dropped another well; argued also about him; And he will nare the name: Sitty.
И он двинулся отсюда и выкопал иной колодезь, о котором уже не спорили, и нарек ему имя: Реховоф, ибо, сказал он, теперь Господь дал нам пространное место, и мы размножимся на земле.
And he moved from here and dug out another well, which was no longer argued, and he was named his name: Rehovof, because he said, now the Lord gave us a spice place, and we will multiply on Earth.
Оттуда перешел он в Вирсавию.
From there he switched to Versavia.
И в ту ночь явился ему Господь и сказал: Я Бог Авраама, отца твоего; не бойся, ибо Я с тобою; и благословлю тебя и умножу потомство твое, ради Авраама, раба Моего.
And the Lord appeared to him that night and said: I am God Abraham, your father; Do not be afraid, for I am with you; And I will bless you and Multiply your offspring, for the sake of Abraham, the servant of mine.
И он устроил там жертвенник и призвал имя Господа. И раскинул там шатер свой, и выкопали там рабы Исааковы колодезь.
And he arranged a satellite there and called on the name of the Lord. And spread his tent there, and the slaves of Isaac were digged there.
Пришел к нему из Герара Авимелех и Ахузаф, друг его, и Фихол, военачальник его.
He came to him from Gerara Avimelheh and Akhuzaf, his friend, and Fihol, the warlord of him.
Исаак сказал им: для чего вы пришли ко мне, когда вы возненавидели меня и выслали меня от себя?
Isaac said to them: why did you come to me when you hated me and sent me from ourselves?
Они сказали: мы ясно увидели, что Господь с тобою, и потому мы сказали: поставим между нами и тобою клятву и заключим с тобою союз,
They said: We clearly saw that the Lord with you, and therefore we said: We will put an oath between us and to you and enter the Union with you,
чтобы ты не делал нам зла, как и мы не коснулись до тебя, а делали тебе одно доброе и отпустили тебя с миром; теперь ты благословен Господом.
So that you do not make evil, as we did not touch you, but did one kind and let you go with the world; Now you are blessed by the Lord.
Он сделал им пиршество, и они ели и пили.
He made them the feast, and they ate and drank.
И встав рано утром, поклялись друг другу; и отпустил их Исаак, и они пошли от него с миром.
And ending early in the morning, swore each other; And Isyaac let them go, and they went from him with the world.
В тот же день пришли рабы Исааковы и известили его о колодезе, который копали они, и сказали ему: мы нашли воду.
On the same day, the slaves of Isaakov came and informed him about the well, which they dug, and told him: we found water.
И он назвал его: Шива. Посему имя городу тому Беэршива до сего дня.
And he called him: Shiva. Therefore, the name is the city of Beearshiv to this day.
И был Исав сорока лет, и взял себе в жены Иегудифу, дочь Беэра Хеттеянина, и Васемафу, дочь Елона Хеттеянина;
And it was an Isau forty years old, and took himself to Igudifu's wife, daughter Beera Hetteyanin, and Vamamafa, daughter of Elon Hetteyanin;
и они были в тягость Исааку и Ревекке.
And they were in Isaac and Rebeki.
