The name of this German group comes from the combination "Maximum Extasy". It included at first the rapper Gary Brokoe and Alice Montana vocalist. For the first time, the group appeared on the Euro Dance Arena in 1994 with two large hits "Get-a-Way and No More (I canon Stand It)", which immediately soared in all charts. The "Get-a-Way" single in Germany sold more than 400,000 copies and became gold, was No. 5 in Britain, and in total more than 1.1 million copies were sold in the world. However, after the release of the Get-a-Way, the Alice Montana vocalist left the group, and it was replaced by Linda Meek.
