Родом из городка Santa Cruz в Калифорнии, Miguel Steward вырос на музыке reggae, soul, classic rock, jazz, hip-hop и свою карьеру начал в 18 лет как гитарист и автор песен в местной банде Zion Sounds. Но, проживая совсем недалеко от одной из клубных мекк Америки - Сан-Франциско, он не избежал влияния house-музыки, куда и окунулся после распада своей группы в середине 1990-х годов, перенёся свою любовь к живым инструментам. За свою карьеру он стал автором уже более 100 работ, выходивших на множестве лэйблов (Naked Music, Astrelwerks, Yoshitoshi, NRK, Black Vinyl, Large, Chez, Transport, Om Records…). Он - автор таких известных и отличных компиляций, как Nude Tempo [Naked], 24th Street [NRK], Get Salted Volume 1 [Salted]. Originally from the town of Santa Cruz in California, Miguel Steward grew up on the music of REGGAE, Soul, Classic Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop and his career began at the age of 18 as a guitarist and songwriter in the local Zion Sounds gang. But, living very close to one of the club Meccs of America-San Francisco, he did not escape the influence of the House music, where he plunged after the collapse of his group in the mid-1990s, he was transferred to live instruments. During his career, he became the author of more than 100 works that were published on many labels (Naked Music, Astrelwerks, Yoshitoshi, NRK, Black Vinyl, Large, Chez, Transport, Om Records ...). He is the author of such well -known and excellent compilations as Nude Tempo [Naked], 24th Street [NRK], Get Salted Volume 1 [Salted]. In 2004, he organized his own Label Salted Music, which had many magnificent releases.
