“Rational melodies can be played on any tool, in any octave, with any transposition. There is no need to play the whole cycle, and the contractor can combine individual melodies into suits as he likes. The plays are intended mainly for the performance of solo, but can also be performed by a group of instruments playing melodies in unison or alternately.


Рациональность, или точнее, дедуктивная логика, редко является определяющим фактором в музыкальной композиции. Композиторов обычно больше интересует вдохновение, интуиция, чувство, самовыражение. Rationality, or rather, deductive logic, is rarely a determining factor in the musical composition. Composers are usually more interested in inspiration, intuition, feeling, self -expression. Recently, however, there has been a tendency to refuse to determine each note, and the beliefs on factors that are independent of the composer: the wind, accident or, for example, individual characteristics of tape recorders participate in the creation of the plays. It seems to me that the essay with strict follow -up involves the logic in a similar way of thinking. ”
