The alliance was formed in Liverpool in 1990. It included the brother Trevor Gray (keyboards, vocals) and Hovard Gray (backing), as well as NUKO (vocals/guitar/keyboards). Inspired by music music, they opened their own Stealth Sonic Records label and first released their notes on it. After the release of the leading singles “Blackout”, “Destiny” and “Lolita”, which became a club hit, Apollo 440 gained wide fame. They strengthened their glory thanks to remixes on such performers as U2, Liz Francis, EMF and Pop Will Eat Itself.
