The first breakthrough of Bocelli as a singer occurred in 1992, when Zukkero Fornachiari was looking for a tenor to record the demo with the song "Miserera", which he wrote with Bony from U2. Having successfully passed the selection, Bochelli wrote down the composition in a duet with Pavarotti. After the World Tour with Fornachiari in 1993, Bochelli spoke at the charity "Pavarotti International Festival", which was held in Moden in September 1994. In addition to Pavarotti, Bochelli also sang with Brian Adams, Andreas Vollenweider and Nancy Gustavson. In November 1995, Bochelli visited the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and France with the production of Night of Proms, in which Brian Ferri, El Jarra, Roger Khldgson from Supertramp and John Mais also participated.

The first two albums of Bocelli "Andrea Bocelli" (1994) and "Bocelli" (1996) presented only his opera singing, and the third disc "Viaggio Italiano" famous opera arias and traditional non -apopolitan songs. Although the CD was released only in Italy, it spread there more than 300 thousand copies. On the fourth album "Romanza" (1997) was already presented by pop material, including the hit "Time to Say Goodbye", recorded in a duet with Sarah Brightman, which was a great success. After that, Bochelli continued to develop a profitable pop government, releasing the fifth album "Sogno" in 1999, which included the duet with Selin Dion "The Prayer". This song released on the single only in the United States has a 10 millionth circulation and received Golden Globe Awards for its performance, and was nominated for Grammy in the Best New Artist category. The last album "Ciele di Toscana" was released in 2001.

Andrea Bochelli is the only singer who managed to merge the pop music and the opera together: “He sings songs like an opera, and an opera, like songs.” This may sound insulting, but the result is completely opposite - a huge number of adoring fans.
