Не ревнуй злодеям, не завидуй делающим беззаконие, 2ибо они, как трава, скоро будут подкошены и, как зеленеющий злак, увянут.
Do not be jealous of evildoers, do not envy those who practice iniquity, 2 for they, like grass, will soon be cut down and, like green grass, they will wither.


3Уповай на Господа и делай добро; живи на земле и храни истину.
3Trust in the Lord and do good; live on earth and keep the truth.


4Утешайся Господом, и Он исполнит желания сердца твоего.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.


5Предай Господу путь твой и уповай на Него, и Он совершит, 6и выведет, как свет, правду твою и справедливость твою, как полдень.
5 Commit your way to the Lord and trust in Him, and He will perfect it, 6 and He will bring out your righteousness like the light and your justice like the noonday.


7Покорись Господу и надейся на Него. Не ревнуй успевающему в пути своем, человеку лукавствующему.
7Submit yourselves to the Lord and trust in Him. Do not be jealous of the one who succeeds in his way, the wicked man.


8Перестань гневаться и оставь ярость; не ревнуй до того, чтобы делать зло, 9ибо делающие зло истребятся, уповающие же на Господа наследуют землю.
8Cease being angry and put aside your rage; Do not be so jealous as to do evil, 9 for those who do evil will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will inherit the earth.


10Еще немного, и не станет нечестивого; посмотришь на его место, и нет его.
10 Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; you look at his place, and he is not there.


11А кроткие наследуют землю и насладятся множеством мира.
11But the meek will inherit the earth and enjoy much peace.


12Нечестивый злоумышляет против праведника и скрежещет на него зубами своими: 13Господь же посмевается над ним, ибо видит, что приходит день его.
12The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him: 13But the Lord laughs at him, for he sees that his day is coming.


14Нечестивые обнажают меч и натягивают лук свой, чтобы низложить бедного и нищего, чтобы пронзить идущих прямым путем: 15меч их войдет в их же сердце, и луки их сокрушатся.
14The wicked draw the sword and draw their bow to overthrow the poor and the needy, to pierce those who walk the straight path: 15their sword will enter into their own heart, and their bows will be broken.


16Малое у праведника - лучше богатства многих нечестивых, 17ибо мышцы нечестивых сокрушатся, а праведников подкрепляет Господь.
16 A little of the righteous is better than the riches of many of the wicked, 17 for the arms of the wicked are broken, but the Lord strengthens the righteous.


18Господь знает дни непорочных, и достояние их пребудет вовек: 19не будут они постыжены во время лютое и во дни голода будут сыты; 20а нечестивые погибнут, и враги Господни, как тук агнцев, исчезнут, в дыме исчезнут.
18The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will endure forever: 19they will not be put to shame in times of evil, and in days of famine they will be satisfied; 20The wicked will perish, and the enemies of the Lord will disappear like the fat of lambs, disappearing into smoke.


21Нечестивый берет взаймы и не отдает, а праведник милует и дает, 22ибо благословенные Им наследуют землю, а проклятые Им истребятся.
21The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous has mercy and gives. 22For those blessed by Him will inherit the earth, and those cursed by Him will be destroyed.


23Господом утверждаются стопы такого человека, и Он благоволит к пути его: 24когда он будет падать, не упадет, ибо Господь поддерживает его за руку.
23The Lord establishes the steps of such a man, and He delights in his way: 24When he falls, he will not fall, for the Lord holds him up by the hand.


25Я был молод и состарился, и не видал праведника оставленным и потомков его просящими хлеба: 26он всякий день милует и взаймы дает, и потомство его в благословение будет.
25I was young and old, and I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants asking for bread: 26he shows mercy and lends every day, and his descendants will be a blessing.


27Уклоняйся от зла, и делай добро, и будешь жить вовек: 28ибо Господь любит правду и не оставляет святых Своих; вовек сохранятся они; [а беззаконные будут извержены] и потомство нечестивых истребится.
27 Turn away from evil and do good, and you will live forever: 28 for the Lord loves righteousness and does not forsake His saints; they will remain forever; [and the wicked will be cast out] and the descendants of the wicked will be destroyed.


29Праведники наследуют землю и будут жить на ней вовек.
29The righteous will inherit the earth and will live in it forever.


30Уста праведника изрекают премудрость, и язык его произносит правду.
30The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue speaks righteousness.


31Закон Бога его в сердце у него; не поколеблются стопы его.
31The law of his God is in his heart; his feet shall not be shaken.


32Нечестивый подсматривает за праведником и ищет умертвить его; 33но Господь не отдаст его в руки его и не допустит обвинить его, когда он будет судим.
32The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him; 33But the Lord will not deliver him into his hands, nor will he allow him to be accused when he is judged.


34Уповай на Господа и держись пути Его: и Он вознесет тебя, чтобы ты наследовал землю; и когда будут истребляемы нечестивые, ты увидишь.
34Trust in the Lord and keep to His way: and He will exalt you to inherit the earth; and when the wicked are destroyed, you will see.


35Видел я нечестивца грозного, расширявшегося, подобно укоренившемуся многоветвистому дереву; 36но он прошел, и вот нет его; ищу его и не нахожу.
35I saw a terrible wicked man, expanding like a rooted many-branched tree; 36But he passed by, and behold he was no more; I'm looking for it and can't find it.


37Наблюдай за непорочным и смотри на праведного, ибо будущность такого человека есть мир; 38а беззаконники все истребятся; будущность нечестивых погибнет.
37Keep an eye on the blameless and look to the righteous, for the future of such a person is peace; 38And the wicked will all be destroyed; the future of the wicked will perish.


39От Господа спасение праведникам, Он - защита их во время скорби; 40и поможет им Господь и избавит их; избавит их от нечестивых и спасет их, ибо они на Него уповают.
39The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their refuge in time of trouble; 40And the Lord will help them and deliver them; He will deliver them from the wicked and save them, for they trust in Him.
