И змей с силой темною

То не огненный вихрь по земле кружил,
Then not a fiery whirlwind circled on the ground,
То Сварожич татей крушил,
Then Svarozhich Taty crushed,
Шел Семаргл с небесною силой
There was Semargl with heavenly strength
На силушку Змея, Змея Лютого
On the silushka snake, a snake of fierce


Стал Сварожич жечь силы тьмы
Svarozhich began to burn the forces of darkness
Змей топтать и копьем колоть
Trap the snake and stab a spear
А головы их бросать далеко
And throwing their heads far away
В море синее, море чистое.

Как ударил он Змея Черного,

Змея лютого, многоглавого.

Завязалась тут битва грозная

Собирались тучи черные

И от битвы той затряслась земля

Содрогнулся под ней мощный Юша-Змей
The powerful Yusha-Smay shuddered under it
Ужаснулась вся подвселенная.
All the illegal was horrified.


Потеснил Семаргла лютый черный Змей
Semarlla fierce black snakes squeezed
Затопил он мглой землю-матушку
He flooded with a hazy land-mother
И взлетел Семаргл на небеса
And Semargl took off to heaven
Ко Сварогу Небесному в кузницу
To Svarog Heavenly in a forge


И взлетел за ним черный лютый змей
And a black fierce snake took him behind him
И вскричал он на всю подвселенную:
And he cried out to the whole iller:
«Покорил Я всю Землю-матушку,
“I conquered the whole Mother of Earth,
Покорил и вся Поднебесную
Conquered and all the Middle Kingdom
Был Я князем Тьмы,
I was a prince of darkness,
Ныне буду Я всей вселенной Царь!
Now I will be the whole universe of the king!


В кузне небесной Сварог с Семарглом
In the blacksmith of heavenly Svarog with Semargl
Бьют-куют плуг булатный
Buy-rutting the pink of a pinnit
Говорят они Змею:
They say they snake:
«Лютый Змей, повелитель тьмы,
“Fierce snakes, lord of darkness,
Ты пройди сквозь три двери небесных
You pass through three doors of heaven
Станешь ты всей вселенной царь!»
You will become the whole universe king! "


Одолел Змей последнюю дверь
I defeated the snakes the last door
Ухватил Сварог Змея за язык,
The snake was seized by the tongue,
Стал он бить Змея молотом,
He began to beat the snake with a hammer,
А Семаргл-Огнебог запрягал его в кованый плуг
And Semargl-Ognebog harnessed him in a forged plow


И сказали они Змею черному:
And they said the snake black:
Будем мы делить подвселенную
We will share the illed
По сырой земле проведем мы межу
We will spend on raw land we go out
Справа за межой будет Царство Сварога
The kingdom of Svarog will be on the right
Слева за межой будет Змея царство.
On the left behind the interior there will be a snake kingdom.
