После сего Павел, оставив Афины, пришел в Коринф;
After this, Paul, leaving Athens, came to Corinth;
И, нашед некоторого Иудея, именем Акилу, родом Понтянина, недавно пришедшего из Италии, и Прискиллу, жену его, потому что Клавдий повелел всем Иудеям удалиться из Рима, пришел к ним,
And, having found some Judea, by the name Akil, the Pontian, who recently came from Italy, and Prisonskill, his wife, because Claudius ordered all Jews to leave Rome, came to them,
и, по одинаковости ремесла, остался у них и работал; ибо ремеслом их было делание палаток.
And, in the same craft, he remained with them and worked; For their craft was doing tents.
Во всякую же субботу он говорил в синагоге и убеждал Иудеев и Еллинов.
On any Saturday, he spoke in the synagogue and convinced Judeev and Elinov.
А когда пришли из Македонии Сила и Тимофей, то Павел понуждаем был духом свидетельствовать Иудеям, что Иисус есть Христос.
And when power and Timothy came from Macedonia, Pavel compuls in the spirit to testify to the Jews that Jesus is Christ.
Но как они противились и злословили, то он, отрясши одежды свои, сказал к ним: кровь ваша на главах ваших; я чист; отныне иду к язычникам.
But how they opposed and slandered, he, his clothes, said to them: your blood is on your chapters; I am clean; From now on I go to the Gentiles.
И пошел оттуда, и пришел к некоторому чтущему Бога, именем Иусту, которого дом был подле синагоги.
And he went from there, and came to some honor of God, the name of Iustu, whom the house was near the synagogue.
Крисп же, начальник синагоги, уверовал в Господа со всем домом своим, и многие из Коринфян, слушая, уверовали и крестились.
Crisp, the head of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with his whole house, and many of the Corinthians, listening, believed and baptized.
Господь же в видении ночью сказал Павлу: не бойся, но говори и не умолкай,
The Lord in a vision at night said to Paul: do not be afraid, but speak and do not stop,
ибо Я с тобою, и никто не сделает тебе зла, потому что у Меня много людей в этом городе.
For I am with you, and no one will make you angry, because I have many people in this city.
И он оставался там год и шесть месяцев, поучая их слову Божию.
And he stayed there for a year and six months, teaching their word of God.
Между тем, во время проконсульства Галлиона в Ахаии, напали Иудеи единодушно на Павла и привели его пред судилище,
Meanwhile, during the Consults of Gallion in Ahai, the Jews unanimously attacked Paul and brought him before the trial,
говоря, что он учит людей чтить Бога не по закону.
Saying that he teaches people to honor God by law.
Когда же Павел хотел открыть уста, Галлион сказал Иудеям: Иудеи! если бы какая-нибудь была обида или злой умысел, то я имел бы причину выслушать вас,
When Pavel wanted to open the mouth, Gallion said to the Jews: Jews! If there was any resentment or evil intent, then I would have the reason to listen to you,
но когда идет спор об учении и об именах и о законе вашем, то разбирайте сами; я не хочу быть судьею в этом.
But when there is a dispute about teaching and on names and about your law, then analyze yourself; I do not want to be a judge in this.
И прогнал их от судилища.
And he drove them away from the court.
А все Еллины, схватив Сосфена, начальника синагоги, били его перед судилищем; и Галлион нимало не беспокоился о том.
And all the Ellin, grabbing the Socialist Republic, the head of the synagogue, beat him in front of the trial; And Gallion was not worried about that.
Павел, пробыв еще довольно дней, простился с братиями и отплыл в Сирию, и с ним Акила и Прискилла, остригши голову в Кенхреях, по обету.
Pavel, having stayed for more days, said goodbye to the brethren and sailed to Syria, and with him Akila and Prisonskill, cut his head in Kenhrey, by vow.
Достигнув Ефеса, оставил их там, а сам вошел в синагогу и рассуждал с Иудеями.
Having reached Ephesus, he left them there, and he entered the synagogue himself and reasoned with the Jews.
Когда же они просили его побыть у них долее, он не согласился,
When they asked him to stay more by them, he did not agree,
а простился с ними, сказав: мне нужно непременно провести приближающийся праздник в Иерусалиме; к вам же возвращусь опять, если будет угодно Богу. И отправился из Ефеса. (Акила же и Прискилла остались в Ефесе).
And he said goodbye to them, saying: I must certainly spend the approaching holiday in Jerusalem; I will return to you again, if it pleases God. And he went from Ephesus. (Akila and Proskill remained in Ephesus).
Побывав в Кесарии, он приходил в Иерусалим, приветствовал церковь и отошел в Антиохию.
Having visited Caesarea, he came to Jerusalem, greeted the church and went to Antioch.
И, проведя там несколько времени, вышел, и проходил по порядку страну Галатийскую и Фригию, утверждая всех учеников.
And, having spent a few time there, he went out, and passed in order to the country of Galati and Frig, affirming all the students.
Некто Иудей, именем Аполлос, родом из Александрии, муж красноречивый и сведущий в Писаниях, пришел в Ефес.
A certain Jew, in the name of Apollos, originally from Alexandria, the eloquent husband and knowledgeable in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus.
Он был наставлен в начатках пути Господня и, горя духом, говорил и учил о Господе правильно, зная только крещение Иоанново.
He was instructed in the beginnings of the Lord’s path and, grief in spirit, spoke and taught about the Lord correctly, knowing only the baptism of John.
Он начал смело говорить в синагоге. Услышав его, Акила и Прискилла приняли его и точнее объяснили ему путь Господень.
He began to boldly speak in the synagogue. Hearing him, Akila and Prisonsilla accepted him and more precisely explained to him the path of the Lord.
А когда он вознамерился идти в Ахаию, то братия послали к тамошним ученикам, располагая их принять его; и он, прибыв туда, много содействовал уверовавшим благодатью,
And when he intended to go to Ahai, the brotherhoods were sent to the students there, having them to accept him; And he, having arrived there, contributed a lot to those who believed the grace,
ибо он сильно опровергал Иудеев всенародно, доказывая Писаниями, что Иисус есть Христос.
For he greatly refuted the Jews popularly, proving the Scriptures that Jesus is Christ.
