Маме он сказал – прости, А девчёнке – прощай,

И душою провалился во мглу.

А волчица потащила то ли в ад, то ли в рай
And the she -wolf dragged either to hell, or to heaven
Его тело по камням в заставу.
His body on the stones in the outpost.


Сколько времяни прошло, теперь не скажет никто
How many time has passed, no one will say now
Всё мелькало перед ним как в бреду.
Everything flashed in front of him as delirious.
Она звёздными ночами согревала его
She warmed him with starry nights
Рядом с ним ложилась спать на снегу.
