Bradford Alexander Mehldau - an American pianist, known both his solo career and leadership of his name trio, and his close cooperation with such famous musicians as Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter, Joshua Redman, Christian McBride, Michael Brec Ker, Chris Potter , Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jimmy Cobb, and classic vocalists Renee Fleming and Anne Sofie Von Otter. Brad was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but soon his family moved to Connecticut, where he spent all his childhood. Being a 2nd grade student of high school, Melldau received the Berkeley college award, and after school, in 1988, he moved to New York to study the jazz at The New School University. Later, he played for some time as Sidman (mainly in the quarter of Joshua Redman), until he founded his own trio in 1994. In addition to his own work, two of his records with Path Matthew.
