One of the most integral and powerful albums of Ensemble Organum is the famous French choir, in collaboration with leading media-medieval musicians engaged in the reconstruction of old music.

A truly knightly album is a majestic, but not overwhelming, military, but prayerful.

The record was made in December 2005 in the abbey de Foneto-royal tomb of the kind of plantagenets.

The recording starts with the antifone of Crucem Tuam. This antifone is also sometimes sang outside the liturgical context. He was attributed to the magical power, which often forced spiritual authorities to monitor and limit its use. After that, we present the Kyrie chanting, whose liturgical role in the beginning of the Mass lies in the praise of the greatness of God - the only force capable of correcting the weakness and imperfection of the human soul. Once a year, Kyrie will go outside the Mass - the evening of the first day of Easter begins with him. That is what Kyrie we chose to record. But the kyrie anthem could also be used to strengthen the spirit of warriors when the troops deployed in combat order. Here, the monozya alternates with a three-part polyphonia - follow the techniques of the Paris Cottage (here: the type of medieval two-riding) in the form in which he came to us in the only preserved work of the Master Albert Paris (Regent Saint-Etienne Cathedral) from the old manuscript Calixtinus: Congaudeant Catholici.

Then two antifones are followed, determining the spiritual context of the Order of the Order. Often, the Templars are perceived only as warriors. The same thought is emphasized by the declamination of poems from Psalm 122nd (here: Western numbering; Psalm 121st in the synodal translation), which causes a picture of peaceful Jerusalem in imagination to people. Finally, in the same way, as every night, the Templars addressed the last prayer to the Virgin Mary, this brief overview of the liturgical life of the church Order is ends with an elevated hymn Salve Regina. This antifone, so widespread in the entire Western Christian world, is presented here in an unusual form, with three verses that express the mystery of the award.
