Величием и благостью Его полнится мироздание,
The universe is filled with His greatness and goodness,
Всеведение и мудрость – облачение славы Его.
Omniscience and wisdom are the vestments of His glory.
Превознесен Он над святыми Ангелами,
He is exalted above the holy angels,
Великолепен в славе над колесницей Своей.
Magnificent in glory above His chariot.
Достойным и прямодушным предстоять престолу Его.
Worthy and upright to stand before His throne.
Любви и милосердия исполнен Он во славе Своей.
He is filled with love and mercy in His glory.
Прекрасны светила, что созданы Богом нашим.
Beautiful are the luminaries that were created by our God.
Всеведением, разумом и премудростью сотворил Он их,
With omniscience, intelligence and wisdom He created them,
Силой и мощью наделил их, да правят миром.
He endowed them with strength and power, may they rule the world.
Исполнены блистания, излучают свет,
Full of brilliance, radiating light,
Весь мир услаждается сиянием их.
The whole world enjoys their radiance.
Отрадны на восходе, ликуют при закате,
Joyful at sunrise, rejoicing at sunset,
С трепетом вершат волю Творца своего,
With trepidation they do the will of their Creator,
Великолепие и славу имени Его воспевают они,
They sing of the splendor and glory of His name,
Торжествуют и поют, помятуя царскую власть Его.
They triumph and sing, remembering His royal power.
Повелел Он солнцу – и воссиял свет,
He commanded the sun and the light shone,
В прозорливости Своей установил лунные фазы.
In His clairvoyance He established the lunar phases.
Все воинство небесное восхваляет Его –
All the heavenly hosts praise Him -
Святые Серафимы, Ангелы и Архангелы
Saints Seraphim, Angels and Archangels
Славят величие и великолепие
Celebrating greatness and splendor
