In the mid-70s, at the beginning of their creative path, Bratsch performed with the famous American singer and actor Theodore Bickel, singing both in English and in all languages of Eastern Europe, mixing a variety of styles. Bikel and "discovered" the work of the group to a wide European listener. Usually, to recording his albums, Bikel invited the musicians of the nationality, whose songs he sang, but in Bratsch musicians, Bikel met not just the next “session” musicians, but real like -minded people: the interweaving of cultures and musical styles is generally characteristic of central Europe, especially - especially Where the formation of gypsy music took place. The first album "Bratsch"-"Musique de Partout" was released in 1976, two years later in 1978 the album "J'aime Un Voyou, Maman" was published, then the group participated in several European folk festivals, in including in the Swiss city of Basel and the Dutch Dortht and Dordrecht.
