James Cotton is an American blues singer, a recognized virtuoso of blusucid harmonica with his unique manner of the game; continues the tradition of the Chicago School of Living Harmonic, formed under the influence of Sonny Boy Williamson and continued by the work of Little Walter (Big Walter Horton); He played and recorded in Muddy Waters bluesband (Muddy Waters).
