Chapter fifteen.


Немедленно поутру первосвященники со старейшинами и книжниками и весь синедрион составили совещание и, связав Иисуса, отвели и предали Пилату.
Immediately in the morning, the high priests with the elders and scribes and the entire Sanhedrin held a meeting and, having bound Jesus, took him away and handed him over to Pilate.
Пилат спросил Его: Ты Царь Иудейский? Он же сказал ему в ответ: ты говоришь.
Pilate asked Him: Are you the King of the Jews? He answered and said to him, “You speak.”
И первосвященники обвиняли Его во многом.
And the chief priests accused Him of many things.
Пилат же опять спросил Его: Ты ничего не отвечаешь? видишь, как много против Тебя обвинений.
Pilate asked Him again: “Are you not answering?” you see how many accusations are against you.
Но Иисус и на это ничего не отвечал, так что Пилат дивился.
But Jesus did not answer anything to this either, so Pilate marveled.
На всякий же праздник отпускал он им одного узника, о котором просили.
For every holiday, he released to them one prisoner they asked for.
Тогда был в узах некто, по имени Варавва, со своими сообщниками, которые во время мятежа сделали убийство.
Then there was a man in bonds named Barabbas, with his accomplices, who committed murder during the rebellion.
И народ начал кричать и просить Пилата о том, чтó он всегда делал для них.
And the people began to shout and ask Pilate for what he had always done for them.
Он сказал им в ответ: хотите ли, отпущу вам Царя Иудейского?
He answered and said to them: Do you want me to release the King of the Jews to you?
Ибо знал, что первосвященники предали Его из зависти.
For he knew that the high priests had betrayed Him out of envy.
Но первосвященники возбудили народ просить, чтобы отпустил им лучше Варавву.
But the high priests stirred up the people to ask that Barabbas be released to them instead.
Пилат, отвечая, опять сказал им: что же хотите, чтобы я сделал с Тем, Которого вы называете Царем Иудейским?
Pilate, answering, again said to them: what do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?
Они опять закричали: распни Его.
They shouted again: crucify Him.
Пилат сказал им: какое же зло сделал Он? Но они еще сильнее закричали: распни Его.
Pilate said to them, “What evil has He done?” But they shouted even more loudly: crucify Him.
Тогда Пилат, желая сделать угодное народу, отпустил им Варавву, а Иисуса, бив, предал на распятие.
Then Pilate, wanting to do what was pleasing to the people, released Barabbas to them, and beat Jesus and handed him over to be crucified.
А воины отвели Его внутрь двора, то есть в преторию, и собрали весь полк,
And the soldiers took Him inside the courtyard, that is, to the praetorium, and gathered the whole regiment,
и одели Его в багряницу, и, сплетши терновый венец, возложили на Него;
and they clothed Him in scarlet, and wove together a crown of thorns, and laid it on Him;
и начали приветствовать Его: радуйся, Царь Иудейский!
and they began to greet Him: Rejoice, King of the Jews!
И били Его по голове тростью, и плевали на Него, и, становясь на колени, кланялись Ему.
And they beat Him on the head with a cane, and spat on Him, and, kneeling down, bowed to Him.
Когда же насмеялись над Ним, сняли с Него багряницу, одели Его в собственные одежды Его и повели Его, чтобы распять Его.
When they mocked Him, they took off His scarlet robe, dressed Him in His own clothes, and led Him out to crucify Him.
И заставили проходящего некоего Киринеянина Симона, отца Александрова и Руфова, идущего с поля, нести крест Его.
And they forced a certain Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, who was passing by, coming from the field, to carry His cross.
И привели Его на место Голгофу, чтó значит: Лобное место.
And they brought Him to the place of Golgotha, which means: Place of Execution.
И давали Ему пить вино со смирною; но Он не принял.
And they gave Him wine and myrrh to drink; but He did not accept.
Распявшие Его делили одежды Его, бросая жребий, кому чтó взять.
Those who crucified Him divided His garments, casting lots to see who should take what.
Был час третий, и распяли Его.
It was the third hour, and they crucified Him.
И была надпись вины Его: Царь Иудейский.
And the inscription of His guilt was: King of the Jews.
С Ним распяли двух разбойников, одного по правую, а другого по левую сторону Его.
They crucified two thieves with Him, one on His right and the other on His left.
И сбылось слово Писания: и к злодеям причтен.
And the word of Scripture was fulfilled: he was numbered among the evildoers.
Проходящие злословили Его, кивая головами своими и говоря: э! разрушающий храм, и в три дня созидающий!
Those passing by cursed Him, nodding their heads and saying: Eh! destroying the temple, and building in three days!
спаси Себя Самого и сойди со креста.
save yourself and come down from the cross.
Подобно и первосвященники с книжниками, насмехаясь, говорили друг другу: других спасал, а Себя не может спасти.
Likewise, the high priests and the scribes, mocking, said to each other: He saved others, but he cannot save himself.
Христос, Царь Израилев, пусть сойдет теперь с креста, чтобы мы видели, и уверуем. И распятые с Ним поносили Его.
Let Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe. And those crucified with Him reviled Him.
В шестом же часу настала тьма по всей земле и продолжалась до часа девятого.
At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole earth and continued until the ninth hour.
В девятом часу возопил Иисус громким голосом: Элои́! Элои́! ламмá савахфани́? – что значит: Боже Мой! Боже Мой! для чего Ты Меня оставил?
At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice: Eloi! Eloi! lamma sabachthani? - which means: My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?
Некоторые из стоявших тут, услышав, говорили: вот, Илию зовет.
Some of those standing there heard it and said, “Look, he is calling Elijah.”
А один побежал, наполнил губку уксусом и, наложив на трость, давал Ему пить, говоря: постойте, посмотрим, придет ли Илия снять Его.
And one ran, filled a sponge with vinegar and, putting it on a reed, gave Him a drink, saying: wait, let's see if Elijah comes to take Him down.
Иисус же, возгласив громко, испустил дух.
Jesus cried out loudly and gave up the ghost.
И завеса в храме раздралась надвое, сверху донизу.
And the veil of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.
Сотник, стоявший напротив Его, увидев, что Он, тáк возгласив, испустил дух, сказал: истинно Человек Сей был Сын Божий.
The centurion standing opposite Him, seeing that He had given up the ghost after crying out thus, said: Truly this man was the Son of God.
Были тут и женщины, которые смотрели издали: между ними была и Мария Магдалина, и Мария, мать Иакова меньшего и Иосии, и Саломия,
There were also women here who looked from afar: among them was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and Josiah, and Salome,
которые и тогда, как Он был в Галилее, следовали за Ним и служили Ему, и другие многие, вместе с Ним пришедшие в Иерусалим.
who, even when He was in Galilee, followed Him and served Him, and many others who came with Him to Jerusalem.
И как уже настал вечер, – потому что была пятница, то есть день перед субботою, –
And when evening had already come, because it was Friday, that is, the day before Saturday,
пришел Иосиф из Аримафеи, знаменитый член совета, который и сам ожидал Царствия Божия, осмелился войти к Пилату, и просил тела Иисусова.
Joseph came from Arimathea, a famous member of the council, who himself expected the Kingdom of God, dared to enter Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
Пилат удивился, что Он уже умер, и, призвав сотника, спросил его, давно ли умер?
Pilate was surprised that He had already died, and, calling the centurion, asked him how long ago He had died?
И, узнав от сотника, отдал тело Иосифу.
And, having learned from the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
Он, купив плащаницу и сняв Его, обвил плащаницею, и положил Его во гробе, который был высечен в скале, и привалил камень к двери гроба.
He bought a shroud and took Him off, wrapped him in the shroud, and laid Him in a tomb, which was hewn out of the rock, and rolled the stone to the door of the tomb.
Мария же Магдалина и Мария Иосиева смотрели, где Его полагали.
Mary Magdalene and Mary of Joseph looked where they laid Him.
