На острие космических ножей
On the point of space knives
Прозрачный Гуру в белом одеяньи
Transparent guru in white blankets
Творит веками дым и заклинанья,
Through the centuries smoke and spells,
Гипнотизируя растерянных людей
Hypnotizing bewildered people
И обрекая мысли на блужданье.
And dooming thoughts on wandering.


А за спиной его мерцает странный Зверь
And behind him flickens a strange beast
С мечом в зубах и кубком яда в лапах,
With a sword in the teeth and a poison cup in the paws,
Зверь сторожит - за дверью звездный запах
The beast is watching - behind the door star smell
Прикован к родникам чистейших вер,
Cleaned to the springs of the purest faith,
Что знать не знают о земных сатрапах...
What to know do not know about earthly satraps ...


В ночь на весах из желтых черепов
On the night on the scales made of yellow skulls
Играет Гуру тьмой и ярким светом,
Plays the guru darkness and bright light,
И путь людской томительным секретом
And the path of a human languid secret
Уходит вглубь мистических дворцов,
Goes deep into mystical palaces,
Каноном каменным победно в кровь распетый.
The canon of the stone is triumphantly stained in the blood.


Вздохнут весы, и явится на свет
Libra will breathe and come into the light
Младенец - он зачат в грехе и мраке,
Baby - he is conceived in sin and darkness,
Чтоб Истиной гасить могильный факел
To the truth to extinguish the grave torch
(И оказаться с пламенем в родстве!) –
(And be related to the flame!) -
Зверь зарычит, готовясь к дикой драке.
The beast grows, preparing for a wild fight.


Из тьмы неверья - выход к Божеству,
From the darkness of nonsense - an exit to the deity,
От Божества - в язычество как в омут?
From the deity - in paganism as in a pool?
И вновь во тьме,
And again in the darkness,
как в древних топях, тонут
like in ancient tops, drown
Легко поддавшиеся естеству –
Easily succumbing to nature -
И палец Гуру укоризной согнут.
And the finger of the guru reproachfully bend.


«Увидишь свет - не верь глазам своим;
“You will see the light - do not believe your eyes;
В его одежды может тьма рядиться».
Darkness may be in his clothes. ”
О, как хотелось Гуру ошибиться
Oh, how the guru wanted to make a mistake
И подыграть исканиям людским,
And play playing out with human searches,
Но Зверь мог не на шутку разъяриться!
But the beast could be in earnest!

Tired guru in white blankets
Взывает к душам и поет о покаяньи
Calls to the souls and sings about repentance
Преступно неприкаянных людей,
Criminally restless people
А странный Зверь
A strange beast
