ОМ - священный слог, часто произносимый перед самой мантрой и после нее. Считается, что ОМ содержит в себе всё знание, являясь источником Вед и всего творения.
OM - a sacred syllable often pronounced before the mantra and after it. It is believed that OM contains all knowledge, being a source of the Vedas and all creation.
БХУР, БХУВА, СУВАХА – уточняется, какое творение имеется в виду: Физическая, Астральная и Небесная сферы Бытия.
Bhur, Bhuva, Suvha - specifies which creation is meant: physical, astral and heavenly spheres of being.
ТАТ - Пусть Та Высшая Божественная Сущность. (Слово ТАТ означает Парабрахман, Верховное Существо)

ВАРЕНЬЯМ ДЭВАСЬЯ - Этой Восхитительной Высшей Божественной Реальности. (Слово «Вареньям» подразумевает Господа Вишну, прибежище и конечную цель для всех душ; а слово «Девасья» указывает на божественную личность)
Devasya jam - this delightful higher divine reality. (The word "jam" implies the Lord Vishnu, refuge and the final goal for all souls; and the word "devasion" indicates a divine personality)
ДХИМАХИ - Мы медитируем. (Медитация подразумевает связь, и в данном случае посредством мантры Гаятри мы связываемся с Богом)
Dhimachi - we meditate. (Meditation implies a connection, and in this case, through the mantra of the Gayatri, we contact God)
