Альбом The Offspring, получивший название «Conspiracy Of One», также стал весьма успешным; хорошие продажи ему обеспечил успех синглов «Original Prankster», «Want You Bad» и «Million Miles Away». Первоначально группа планировала распространять альбом на своём официальном сайте, чтобы продемонстрировать свою поддержку этому достаточно новому на тот момент способу распространения музыки. Но под давлением звукозаписывающей компании от такого плана пришлось отказаться, и на сайте группы был опубликован только первый сингл, «Original Prankster». Впрочем, и весь альбом целиком из-за утечки был вскоре выложен на фан-сайтах.
