“I swear by the sun, its radiance, its rising and the heat radiating from it!
и луной, которая восходит вслед за солнцем, после его заката, и освещает темноту!
and the moon, which rises after the sun, after its sunset, and illuminates the darkness!
и днём, который делает солнце ярким, ничем не омрачённым!
and during the day, which makes the sun bright, unclouded by anything!
и ночью, которая покрывает солнце и закрывает его свет!
and the night, which covers the sun and blocks its light!
и небом, и Великим, Всемогущим, который наилучшим образом вознёс и воздвиг его!
and the sky, and the Great, Almighty, who exalted and raised him in the best possible way!
и землёй, и Великим, Всемогущим, который распростёр её во все стороны, сделав её пригодной для жизни!
and the earth, and the Great, Almighty, who spread it in all directions, making it suitable for life!
и душой, и Тем, кто её сотворил совершенной, наделив её силой и разными способностями!
both the soul and the One who created it perfect, endowing it with strength and various abilities!
Он разъяснил ей, что такое добро и что такое зло, и наделил её способностью совершать из них то, что она пожелает.
He explained to her what good is and what evil is, and endowed her with the ability to make of them what she wished.
Поистине, преуспел тот, кто очищал её повиновением Аллаху и совершением благочестивых деяний.
Indeed, the one who purified it by obeying Allah and performing pious deeds has succeeded.
А тот, кто оскудил свою душу, не будучи добродетельным, и погубил в ней способность вершить добро, несомненно, потерпел убыток.
And the one who impoverished his soul, not being virtuous, and destroyed in it the ability to do good, undoubtedly suffered a loss.
Самудяне из-за своего своеволия и несправедливости сочли своего пророка лжецом, когда самый недостойный из них встал, намереваясь подрезать поджилки верблюдице.
The Samudians, because of their self-will and injustice, considered their prophet a liar, when the most unworthy of them stood up, intending to hamstring the camel.
Тогда посланник Аллаха (Салих) сказал им: "Пусть верблюдица Аллаха пасётся на земле Аллаха, и остерегайтесь отгонять её от водопоя в назначенный для неё день".
Then the Messenger of Allah (Salih) said to them: “Let the she-camel of Allah graze in the land of Allah, and beware of driving her away from the watering place on the day appointed for her.”
Они считали своего посланника лжецом. Они не верили его обещаниям о наказании и подрезали поджилки верблюдице. Тогда за этот грех Аллах разрушил их селение и стёр его с лица земли.
They considered their messenger a liar. They did not believe his promises of punishment and hamstrung the camel. Then, for this sin, Allah destroyed their village and wiped it off the face of the earth.
И Он не страшился последствий этого наказания, поскольку оно является справедливым воздаянием за то, что они совершили.
And He was not afraid of the consequences of this punishment, since it is a just reward for what they did.
