Пророчество о Дамаске. Вот, Дамаск исключается из числа городов и будет грудою развалин.
Prophecy about Damascus. Here, Damascus is excluded from among the cities and will be a pile of ruins.
Города Ароерские будут покинуты, останутся для стад, которые будут отдыхать там, и некому будет пугать их.
The cities of the Aroy will be abandoned, remain for herds that will rest there, and there will be no one to scare them.
Не станет твердыни Ефремовой и царства Дамасского с остальною Сириею; с ними будет то же, что со славою сынов Израиля, говорит Господь Саваоф.
The stronghold of Efremova and the kingdom of Damasky with the rest of Syria will not be; With them will be the same as with the glory of the sons of Israel, says the Lord Savaof.
И будет в тот день: умалится слава Иакова, и тучное тело его сделается тощим.
And it will be that day: the glory of Jacob is diminished, and his fat body will become skinny.
То же будет, что по собрании хлеба жнецом, когда рука его пожнет колосья, и когда соберут колосья в долине Рефаимской.
It will be the same that at the collection of bread by a reap, when his hand brings his ears, and when the ears in the Refamian valley will be collected.
И останутся у него, как бывает при обивании маслин, две-три ягоды на самой вершине, или четыре-пять на плодоносных ветвях, говорит Господь, Бог Израилев.
And he will remain with him, as it happens with the upholstery of olives, two or three berries at the very top, or four to five on fruitful branches, says the Lord, God Israel.
В тот день обратит человек взор свой к Творцу своему, и глаза его будут устремлены к Святому Израилеву;
On that day, a person will turn his gaze to his creator, and his eyes will be directed to St. Israel;
и не взглянет на жертвенники, на дело рук своих, и не посмотрит на то, что сделали персты его, на кумиры Астарты и Ваала.
And he will not look at the altars, at the work of his hands, and will not look at the fact that they made his fingers, at the idols of Astarta and Baal.
В тот день укрепленные города его будут, как развалины в лесах и на вершинах гор, оставленные пред сынами Израиля, и будет пусто.
On that day, the fortified cities will be like ruins in the forests and on the tops of the mountains left before the sons of Israel, and will be empty.
Ибо ты забыл Бога спасения твоего, и не воспоминал о скале прибежища твоего; от того развел увеселительные сады и насадил черенки от чужой лозы.
For you forgot the god of your salvation, and did not memorize your refuge; From that he divorced the amusement gardens and planted cuttings from someone else's vine.
В день насаждения твоего ты заботился, чтобы оно росло и чтобы посеянное тобою рано расцвело; но в день собирания не куча жатвы будет, но скорбь жестокая.
On the day of your planting, you cared for it to grow up and that the sown by you flourished early; But on the day of collecting it will not be a bunch of harvest, but the grief is cruel.
Увы! шум народов многих! шумят они, как шумит море. Рев племен! они ревут, как ревут сильные воды.
Alas! The noise of the peoples of many! They make noise how the sea is noisy. The roar of tribes! They roar how strong waters roar.
Ревут народы, как ревут сильные воды; но Он погрозил им и они далеко побежали, и были гонимы, как прах по горам от ветра и как пыль от вихря.
The peoples roar how strong waters roar; But he threatened them and they ran far, and were persecuted, like dust in the mountains from the wind and like dust from a whirlwind.
Вечер и вот ужас! и прежде утра уже нет его. Такова участь грабителей наших, жребий разорителей наших.
Evening and here is horror! And before the morning there is no longer him. This is the fate of our robbers, the lot of our ruins.
