...Принято думать, что медитация - это некая туманно-восточная эзотерическая практика. Полная ерунда. В силу разных причин медитация сильнее развита на востоке, от Японии до Индии - но в христианской традиции это понятие известно и пользуется большим уважением. Иногда она называется "созерцание". В византийской традиции это также назывется "исихазм" или - иногда - умная молитва. Хорошее описание молитвы, приводящей к медитативному состоянию - это вполне православная книга "Откровенные рассказы странника своему духовному отцу". Суть медитации - перенести внимание с суетных мыслей на созерцание Бога в своем сердце. А Бог везде, всегда и для всех - один....
