Однажды мне приснилось, что я беру интервью у Бога.
Once I dreamed that I was an interview with God.


"Так ты хочешь взять у меня интервью?" - Бог спросил меня...
"So you want to interview me?" - God asked me ...
"Если у тебя есть время" - сказал я...
"If you have time," I said ...
Бог улыбнулся:
God smiled:
"Моё время - это вечность… Какие вопросы ты хотел Мне задать?"
"My time is eternity ... What questions did you want to ask me?"


"Что больше всего удивляет Тебя в человеке?"
"What is most surprising in a person?"


И БОГ ответил :
And God answered:


"Им наскучивает детство,
"Childhood bored with them,
Они спешат повзрослеть,
They are in a hurry to grow up
А потом мечтают стать детьми опять.
And then they dream of becoming children again.
Они теряют здоровье, зарабатывая деньги ,
They lose their health, earning money,
А потом теряют деньги, восстанавливая здоровье.
And then they lose money, restoring health.


Они так много думают о будущем, что забывают настоящее настолько,
They think so much about the future that they forget the present so much
что не живут, ни в настоящем, ни в будущем.
that they do not live, neither in the present, nor in the future.


Они живут так, как будто никогда не умрут,
They live as if they will never die,
А умирают, как будто никогда и не жили"...
And they die, as if they never lived "...


Его рука взяла мою, и мы помолчали некоторое время...
His hand took mine, and we were silent for a while ...


И тогда я спросил:
And then I asked:
"Как родитель, какие уроки жизни Ты бы хотел, чтобы Твои дети выучили?"
"As a parent, what lessons of life would you want your children to learn?"


"Пусть знают, что невозможно заставить, кого-то любить их.
"Let them know that it is impossible to force someone to love them.
Всё, что они могут сделать, позволить себе быть любимыми.
All that they can do is afford to be loved.
Пусть знают, что это не хорошо - сравнивать себя с другими.
Let them know that this is not good to compare themselves with others.
Пусть учатся прощать, практикуя прощение.
Let them learn to forgive, practicing forgiveness.
Пусть помнят, что ранить любимого человека занимает всего лишь несколько секунд,
Let them remember that it takes only a few seconds to injure a loved one,
Но залечить эти раны может занять долгие годы.
But to heal these wounds can take for many years.


Пусть поймут, что богат не тот, у кого больше, а тот, кто нуждается в меньшем.
Let them understand that it is rich not the one who has more, but the one who needs less.


Пусть знают, что есть люди, которые их очень любят, просто они ещё не научились выражать свои чувства.
Let them know that there are people who love them very much, they just have not yet learned to express their feelings.


Пусть осознают, что два человека могут смотреть на одно и тоже, а видеть это по-разному.
Let them realize that two people can look at the same thing, and see it differently.


Пусть знают, что простить друг друга недостаточно, надо также простить самих себя".
Let them know that it is not enough to forgive each other, we must also forgive themselves. "


"Благодарю за твоё время - сказал я робко, есть ещё что-то, что ты хотел бы передать своим детям?"

Бог улыбнулся и сказал:

"ПУСТЬ ЗНАЮТ, ЧТО Я ЗДЕСЬ ДЛЯ НИХ... ВСЕГДА!"
