Признаюсь честно, с самого начала, как только вышел этот альбом, я был немного неискренен к нему. А именно - я им страшно брезговал. Во-первых, повлияли в некоторой степени мои личные придирки по части "после энджл оф сэлвэйшн уже ни торт" и кое-что ещё, касающееся лично его Уэдейшиства. Во-вторых, ГОСПОДИ ЭТА ОБЛОЖКА. Как правильно подметил один мой очень хороший друг и товарищ, она похожа на то, будто ребёнок с синдромом Дауна решил срисовать что-то с кавер-арта Manowar или Rhapsody сотоварищей. Конечно, с одной стороны, Эпик с большой буквы, открытая грудь, от которой в теории должны отскакивать стрелы и от которой ломаются изумрудные клинки, вулкан и прочее - это круто, но это ещё и дико клишировано, что не могло сказаться на впечатлениях во время ожидания. В такие моменты прохватывает дикий страх, что группа не просто изменит своему стилю, но и просто-напросто превратится в клона той же всеми любимой Рапсодии. В общем, это всё, что касается недостатков альбома.

I admit honestly, from the very beginning, as soon as this album came out, I was a little insincere to him. Namely, I squeamed them terribly. Firstly, to some extent, my personal nit-picking in terms of "after Angl of Salveishn is already a cake" and something else related to his widespread. Secondly, Lord this cover. As one of my very good friend and comrade, she looked like a child with a child with Down Syndrome, decided to draw something from the Cave Art Manowar or Rhapsody with associates. Of course, on the one hand, an epic with a capital letter, an open breast, from which arrows should bounce in theory and from which emerald blades, volcano and so on are breaking out - this is cool, but it is also wildly clicked, which could not affect impressions during Expectations. At such moments, wild fear grabs that the group will not only change their style, but simply will turn into a clone with the same beloved rapexia. In general, this is all regarding the shortcomings of the album.

А теперь можно говорить и о достоинствах. Со спокойной душой и со сброшенным камнем с сердца можно сказать, что опасения не оправдались. Концепт, который был создан группой в рамках этого альбома, действительно довольно тщательно проработан, история дополняет музыку, музыка дополняет историю, короче, здесь нет каких-то особых нареканий. Далее, собственно, музыкальная составляющая. И тут же первая концептуальная особенность - в альбоме ажно два трека, которые могут именоваться интро. Далее впервые для коллектива пластинка разделена не просто на композиции, а на целые акты, которые в свою очередь поделены на сцены. Также, в соответствии с сюжетом, предполагающим пафосную историю про превозмогание, по сравнению с другими произведениями Galneryus намного выше доля симфонических элементов; даже в выше упомянутом Angel of Salvation не было такого влияния оркестровой составляющей в звучании. Также немного можно отметить флёр прогрессив-метала, хотя бы в том же строении песен. По этой части можно отметить истинную жемчужину альбома - композицию Rain of Tears, которая за восемь с половиной минут хронометража успевает сменить наилиричнейшую интерлюдию с проигрышем из фортепиано агрессивным боевиком с грамотно вставленным гроулом (!), возвращаясь в конце к отчаянному крику души в ритме, заданном началом этого опуса. Также из особо запоминающихся вещей можно отметить Soul of the Field с её горновой прелюдией и душераздирающим "Kanashimi to nageki mune ni hime...". Венчает всё это торжество силы и мужества величественная и до нельзя кинематографичная The Force Of Courage, которая вместе со Слёзным Дождём метит на звание лучшей композиции альбома. Встречая жизнеутверждающим скрипичным введением, она невольно прокручивает перед слушателем видео-логотипы а-ля Columbia, Walt Disney, Miramax, Paramount et cetera, как перед высокобюджетной полнометражной картиной, после чего начинается беспрерывный поток мелодичнейших пассажей, виртуозно сыгранных аккордов, довершающийся неимоверно вдохновляющим речетативом из третьего акта, после которого гарантировано обнаружение дракона под седалищем и железных трусов под верхней одеждой, и наконец обрывающаяся открытым финалом из тихого штиля лёгких вибраций гитарных струн.

For this part, the true pearl of the album can be noted - the composition of Rain of Tears, which in eight and a half minutes of timing manages to change the most important interludia with a loser from the piano with an aggressive action with a competently inserted grill (!), Returning at the end to a desperate scream of the soul in the rhythm specified The beginning of this opus. Also, from particularly memorable things, one can note Soul of the Field with its mining prelude and the heartbreaking "Kanashimi to Nageki Mune Ni Hime ...". All this triumph of power and courage is magnificent and not to the Kinematographic The Force of Courage, which, along with the lumpy rain, marks the title of the best composition of the album. Про Galneryus можно говорить всё, что угодно. Можно быть идиотом или прикинуться таковым, утверждая, что япошки не могут в павер и метал вообще, можно выразить мнение, что Galneryus сбавили обороты после AoS, можно их любить, можно их ненавидеть. Но неизменно одно: оркестр Сюске Уэды и Ко всё также на коне, как и был последние годы. И пусть я уже никогда не буду так сильно по ним страдать и фанючить, этот альбом точно займёт место в моём плеере и не уступит его довольно долгое время.
