Первый сольный диск Nicola Conte, Bossa Per Due (2001, в США – Jet Sounds), привлек пристальное и весьма благосклонное внимание критиков, а также коллег Nicola по цеху. Remix композиций с этого диска выпустили Kruder&Dorfmeister, Gilles Peterson, Basment Jaxx, St.Germain и Thievery Corporation. Стоит отметить, что, помимо выступления Nicola Conte на престижном бразильском Electronica Festival, его живое выступление состоялось на легендарном джазовом фестивале в Монтре.
The first solo disc Nicola Contte, Bossa Per Due (2001, in the USA - Jet Sounds), attracted the close and very favorable attention of critics, as well as Nicola's colleagues in the workshop. Remix compositions from this disk released Kruder & Dorfmeister, Gilles Peterson, Basment Jaxx, ST.Germain and the THIEVERY Corporation. It is worth noting that, in addition to the Nicola Contance performance on the prestigious Brazilian Electronica Festival, his live performance took place at the legendary jazz festival in Montrea.
