Русальная Неделя празднуется прямо перед Купалой или летним солнцеворотом. По-другому Русальную неделю называют Гряной неделей, Проводами русалок, Зелёной Неделей, Зелёными Святками, Русалиями, Семик, укр. Клечальная неделя, поль., Лит. Зелёная неделя, чех. слов. Русальда. По завершению Гряной Недели и совершении людьми всех подобающих ритуалов, русалки уходят в свой мир - в Навь, и люди могут вздохнуть свободно, так как оттуда причинить вред живым они не могут до следующей русальной недели.
