(Ending) .. It is especially worth noting the only alien thing in the album - "Amos Moses". This is a song about a certain Emos Mouzes, born in Louisian, in the family of a crocodile hunter. Aimos and Mouzes are the English pronunciation of the Jewish names Amos and Moses. In honor of these ancient prophets, the offspring was named. When Aimos was still a boy, dad used him as a bait for the beast:

Wrapped a rope behind the waist and threw it into the swamp

Bait for crocodiles in the swamps of Louisiana ...

As a result, Aimos himself grew up a daring hunter, stunning the crocodiles with his cult, for he remained after his father’s tricks with one hand - the second stuck out with a stump on the elbow. But since then, Louisiana’s laws have been liberalized, political correctness began to demand in relation to crocodiles. Having heard about the illegal fishing of Emos, the local sheriff went to the swamps to catch him red -handed. The song ends with brutal irony:

I wonder where the Sheriff of Louisiana went?

Surely got lost in the swamps of Louisiana ...

The author and original performer "Amos Moses" was the American singer Country Jerry Reed. But here the hypnotic guitar riff of the Lemenson hall throughout the song and the tense vocals of Alex create a completely different musical reality, next to which the original Rida does not obey.

In the mid-seventies, a fank music came into fashion, and Funk rhythms used many even hard rock groups-remember the deep Purple albums of that time. Alex Harvey Band also paid tribute to the fashion in this album - at least two things carry this overseas influence: “Jungle Rub Out” (soaked in the jungle) and “$ 25 for a massage” ($ 25 per massage). But the poisonous hard-guitar Lemenson does not allow to relax in these dance rhythms.

Unusual for Sahb, the song Hugh Mackenna "Sirocco" sounds, the very name of which sets up to Arab countries, Bedouin caravans and sands. Sirokko is a hot dry wind blowing from the deserts of Africa to the Mediterranean countries. This is a song-hypnosis. The most difficult thing in the album is “Dogs of War” (horrors of war, Cerberry of Hell), its text is quite intricate, but judging by the name and rage of execution, this is something anti -war. If we take into account that among the inscriptions on the inner turn there is also this: "The guitar is much more important than the machine!"

The entire Sahb Stories album is obeyed in one breath and is considered one of the fundamental in the collection of lovers of Alex Harvey and his sensational gang.
