Deep Forest

Eric Flour was passionate about music in the style of House and soft rhythms. Comparison of the second albums of these groups (The Cross of Changes and Boheme) also found a lot in common. ENIGMA disk appeared in December 1993, Deep Forest disk in the mid-1995, and in both Eastern European music used. As far as it is known, the groups are not in contact and do not plan to work together. Despite the use of similar ideas, we can assume that Deep Forest is inspired by the music Enigma, and does not copy it.

The only famous incident with the plagiarism belongs to the Freedom Cry song from Bohme album. The bottom line is that the person whose voice was used in the song was illiterate and signed simply as XXX.

After his death, the family tried to blame Deep Forest in the illegal use of the voice, but they did not succeed.

Dao Dezi is another project taken by Eric Flour and Guillain Joncheray, executive producer Deep Forest. Music Dao Dezi is a mixture of sounds of Celtic tools and vocals with electronic music elements.

Michel Sanchez is half of Deep Forest. At about the same time as Eric, he was engaged in another project with Dan Lacksman, a Deep Forest sound engineer. In 1995, they released a Windows album similar to style on Deep Forest.

Pangea is the name of the general proclineant in the history of the last land. Pangea's album was created practically without the participation of Erica and Michel, Dan Laxman and Cook Cook (Cooky Cue) worked on him, Deep Forest album sound engineers. In addition to working directly with artists, Deep Forest makes remixes. Their work: Liquid Cool for Apollo 440, undecided for Youssou N'Dour, and two tracks for the Deseo Remixes collection.

After this concert, Deep Forest went to the global tour, they performed in Budapest (Hungary) on August 17, Athens (Greece) on September 18. In October, a trip to Australia and concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne took place. On October 30, October 31 and November 1, they played Tokyo, then on the 29th again in Budapest. Latest concerts were in Zabrze (Poland) on December 2nd and in Warsaw.
