Flash Gordon is the ninth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 8, 1980, the soundtrack to the science-fiction Anglo-American film Flash Gordon. As an album, the project did not reach great heights, stopping at number ten in the UK chart and at number 23 in the US. However, the most important thing is that all band members played brilliantly on synthesizers, which had not previously been used in Queen recordings.
