Stan Meissner - Canadian guitarist, composer and author of texts, who worked at different times of his almost thirty -year career with such musicians as Celine Dion, Ben Orr (The Cars), Eric Clapton, Lee Aaron, Lara Fabian, Lee Ann Womack, Lee Ann Womatic, Ricochet, Farmer's Daughter, Blaise Pascal, Rita Coolidge, BJ Thomas, Alias, Triumph, Darby Mills, Nancy Martinez, Peter Pringle, Toronto. In the interval between 1983 and 1992, he released 3 solo albums, and in 1999 Stan and Peter Fredette recorded the album of The Power of the Night as part of their Metropolis project. Stan took part in the creation of soundtracks for the films Baverly Hills 90210, Hang Time, Forever Knight, Tekwar, Sweating Bullets/Tropical Heat, Little Criminals (CBC), Phenom, Tales Form THE CRYPT, A & E Biography, Amy Fisher-My Story, My Secret Identity, Friday the 13th (parts 7 and 8), Friday The 13th (series), Goulies 3, Life Goes On and Shining Time Station. The creativity of Stan Meissner has been marked by many musical awards: the holder of Gemini Award for music for the series CBC 'It's Only Rock and Roll', B.C.
