Перед тем, как приглашать дам, джентльмены должны договориться между собой, кто кому составит визави. Вставая на танец, эту договоренность следует соблюдать. В самом танце всякий раз, встречаясь со своим или чужим партнером, следует поприветствовать его легким кивком головы или иным уместным движением. Во время кадрили также уместно поддерживать светскую беседу, особенно среди пар, ожидающих своей очереди танцевать.

Но про такую-то кадриль, которая стоит в списке танцев ближе к концу бала, дама весь вечер будет помнить, что она обещала ее вам. :) Кадриль большая, про нее помнить легко. Это приятно и даме, и приглашавшему. :)

1-4 – ведущие пары идут вперед, не держась за руки, и расходятся с визави правыми плечами (при проходе берутся за правые руки).

5-8 – Д идет по полукругу (против часовой стрелки), К – за ее спиной в правую диагональ и затем вокруг Д, доворачивая ее до места. К левой рукой поддерживает руку Д, правая - за спиной Д (хватать за талию не рекомендуется, только в том случае, если Д явно идет не туда). Т.о. ведущие пары поменялись местами.

Замечание по стилю: не надо стараться встать строго лицом к стоящей паре, остановиться и отвесить им полноценный поклон. Главное в этой фигуре - пройти красивый, широкий, плавный, равномерный круг. Стоящим парам мы киваем, проходя мимо них, не останавливая движение и не сворачивая с траектории.

1-4 - Дамы ведущих пар сходятся посередине кадрили, встречаясь правыми руками, и проходят друг мимо друга к кавалерам визави. (На 3-4 К уже начинает выходить в правую диагональ навстречу даме, чтобы было легче ее довернуть).
