Да хранит меня всегда и всюду Верховный Господь, что восседает на птице Гаруде, касаясь ее стопами-лотосами – да хранит Он меня оружием, которое в Его восьми руках: раковиной, диском, щитом, мечом, булавой, стрелами, луком и арканом. Да хранит меня Господь который всесилен, ибо исполнен восьми чудесных сил [анимы, лагхимы и других].

May the Supreme Lord, who sits on the bird Garuda, touching her with his lotus feet, protect me always and everywhere - may He protect me with the weapons that are in His eight hands: conch, disc, shield, sword, mace, arrows, bow and lasso. Да хранит меня на земле Господь, что силой Своей иллюзорной энергии обернулся Карликом [Ваманой]. Да хранит меня в небе Господь во вселенском обличье [Вишварупа], чьей власти покорны все три мира.

May the Lord in the guise of the great Fish [Matsya] protect me in the sea from the fierce inhabitants of the waters - served by the demigod Varuna. May the Lord protect me on earth, who by the power of His illusory energy turned into a Dwarf [Vamana]. May the Lord protect me in heaven in the universal form [Vishvarupa], to whose power all three worlds are submissive.

дургешв атавй-аджи-мукхадишу прабхух

Куда б я ни отправился, в любом опасном месте – в лесу ль, на поле брани – да хранит меня Господь Нрисимхадев, враг Хираньякашипу, – Господь, от чьего громогласного смеха содрогнулись все стороны света и жены демонов родили раньше срока.

Wherever I go, in any dangerous place - in the forest, on the battlefield - may Lord Nrsimhadeva, the enemy of Hiranyakasipu, protect me - the Lord, from whose loud laughter all directions of the world trembled and the wives of demons gave birth prematurely.

От разбойников с большой дороги да спасет меня нетленный Господь Ягьешвара – Господь, познаваемый приношением жертвы, который явился в образе Вепря и на острых клыках поднял Землю со дна вселенского океана. На гребнях гор да хранит меня Господь Парашурама, а в чужих землях – Господь Рамачандра и брат Его Лакшман.

May the imperishable Lord Yagyesvara, the Lord known by the offering of sacrifice, who appeared in the form of a Boar and with sharp tusks lifted the Earth from the bottom of the universal ocean, save me from highway robbers. May Lord Parashurama protect me on the mountain crests, and may Lord Ramachandra and His brother Lakshman protect me in foreign lands.

мам угра-дхармад акхилат прамадан

mam ugra-dharmad akhilat pramadan

нарайанах пату нараш ча хасат

narayanah patu narash ca hasat

даттас тв айогад атха йога-натхах

dattas tv ayogad atha yoga-nathah

пайад гунешах капилах карма-бандхат

payad gunesah kapilah karma-bandhat

Да не даст мне Господь Нараяна последовать лже-религии и, обезумев, пренебречь моим долгом. Да избавит меня от гордыни Господь Нара. Когда я выполняю бхакти-йогу, да не даст мне сбиться с пути Господь Даттатрея, владыка всех йогических сил, и да хранит меня от пут корыстных деяний всеблагой Господь Капила.

May Lord Narayana prevent me from following a false religion and, being mad, neglecting my duty. May Lord Nara deliver me from pride. When I perform bhakti-yoga, may Lord Dattatreya, the lord of all yogic powers, not allow me to go astray, and may the all-good Lord Kapila protect me from the entanglements of selfish actions.

санат-кумаро ‘вату камадевад

sanat-kumaro ‘vatu kamadevad

дхайаширша мам патхи дева-хеланат

dhayashirsha mam pathi deva-helanat

деварши-варйах пурушарчанантарат

Да хранит меня от вожделения Санат-кумар. Перед началом благих дел, да не позволит Господь Хаягрива мне стать оскорбителем, забыв воздать почтение Всевышнему. Когда я поклоняюсь Божеству, да оградит меня от всех оплошностей Деварши Нарада. Да не даст мне пасть в бездну адских планет Господь в обличье Черепахи [Курма].

May Sanat Kumara protect me from lust. Before starting good deeds, may Lord Hayagriva not allow me to become an offender by forgetting to pay respects to the Supreme. When I worship the Deity, may Devarshi Narada protect me from all mistakes. May the Lord in the guise of the Turtle [Kurma] not allow me to fall into the abyss of the hellish planets.

Да хранит меня от дурной пищи и телесных недугов Верховный Господь в обличье Лекаря [Дханвантари]. Да хранит меня от двойственности зноя и стужи Господь Ришабхадев, держащий в узде наружные и внутренние чувства. Да оградит меня Господь Ягья от людской хулы и гнева, а Господь Баларама в образе Змея Шеши – от злобных змей.

May the Supreme Lord in the guise of the Physician [Dhanvantari] protect me from bad food and bodily ailments. May Lord Rishabhadev, who keeps external and internal feelings in check, protect me from the duality of heat and cold. May Lord Yagya protect me from human blasphemy and anger, and may Lord Balarama in the form of the Serpent Shesha protect me from evil snakes.

Да хранит меня Господь в обличье Вьясадевы от невежества, рожденного незнанием Вед. Да удержит меня Господь Буддхадева от противных Ведам деяний, и также от лености, что заставляет в безумии презреть учение Вед и выполнение Ведических обрядов. Да сохранит меня от скверны века Кали Верховная Личность Бога в обличье Калкидевы, что нисходит в этот мир на защиту заветов религии.

May the Lord protect me in the form of Vyasadeva from ignorance born of ignorance of the Vedas. May Lord Buddhadeva keep me from doing things contrary to the Vedas, and also from laziness, which makes me madly despise the teachings of the Vedas and the performance of Vedic rituals. May the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the guise of Kalkideva, who descends into this world to protect the covenants of religion, protect me from the defilement of the age of Kali.
