Chapter 88. The Greatness of the Sky Dwellers


1. Помнить естественное и узнавать себя – занятие всей жизни Мастера.
1. To remember the natural and to recognize oneself is the occupation of the Master's whole life.


2. Когда узнавание происходит долго, он обретает величие, исходящее от Беспредельного. Его называют величие жителей неба.
2. When recognition takes a long time, he acquires the greatness that comes from the Boundless. It is called the greatness of the sky dwellers.


3. Жители неба всегда погружены в величие Беспредельного, не отличая себя от Беспредельного.
3. The sky dwellers are always immersed in the greatness of the Boundless, without distinguishing themselves from the Boundless.


4. Мастер, достигший совершенства в самоузнавании, обретает величие, равное жителям неба.
4. The Master who has attained perfection in self-recognition acquires the greatness equal to the sky dwellers.


5. Если ученик настроен на Дух Мастера, величие Мастера быстро передается ему так же, как пламя одной свечи передается другой.
5. If the disciple is attuned to the Spirit of the Master, the greatness of the Master is quickly transmitted to him, just as the flame of one candle is transmitted to another.


6. Дух ученика впитывает через Мастера величие Беспредельного так же, как если бы Мастер сам был жителем неба.
6. The spirit of the disciple absorbs through the Master the greatness of the Boundless, just as if the Master himself were a sky dweller.


7. Впитывая величие Беспредельного, подобное жителям неба, ученик меняет оценку самого себя и рассеивает последние сны разума. Годами по крупицам он накапливает величие, меняя оценку себя, чтобы когда-нибудь узнать себя.
7. By absorbing the greatness of the Boundless, similar to the sky dwellers, the disciple changes his self-esteem and dispels the last dreams of the mind. Over the years, he accumulates greatness, bit by bit, changing his self-esteem, so that he can someday recognize himself.


8. Не накопив безграничного величия, узнать себя невозможно, даже если достигнута непрерывная цепь вспышек Духа, и ученик смог отпустить себя перед нисходящей силой, поскольку между учеником и Беспредельным всегда будет оставаться дистанция. А узнать себя означает свести такую дистанцию к нулю.
8. Without having accumulated limitless greatness, it is impossible to recognize oneself, even if an uninterrupted chain of flashes of the Spirit has been achieved, and the disciple has been able to let go of himself before the descending force, since there will always be a distance between the disciple and the Infinite. And to recognize oneself means to reduce this distance to zero.


9. Смена самооценки и новое ощущение себя рассеивает самые глубокие грезы и делает дух ученика легким, гибким, отрешенным и радостным.
9. A change in self-esteem and a new sense of oneself dispels the deepest dreams and makes the spirit of the disciple light, flexible, detached and joyful.


10. Полностью обрести величие жителей неба означает обрести свободу и узнать себя как Беспредельное.
10. To fully acquire the greatness of the inhabitants of heaven means to gain freedom and to recognize oneself as the Infinite.


11. Величие жителей неба – это реальное ощущение себя Беспредельным.
11. The greatness of the inhabitants of heaven is a real sense of oneself as the Infinite.


12. Ученик настраивается на это величие вновь и вновь, пока оно не вытеснит его старое ощущение себя, привычку чувствовать себя незначительным и мелким, и не заставит признать себя величественным излучением Беспредельного, тем, кем он всегда был.
12. The disciple attunes himself to this greatness again and again until it displaces his old sense of self, the habit of feeling insignificant and petty, and makes him recognize himself as the majestic emanation of the Infinite, who he has always been.


13. Беспредельное обладает непостижимо глубоким величием, перед которым даже величие жителей неба кажется пылинкой.
13. The Infinite has an inconceivably profound greatness, before which even the greatness of the inhabitants of heaven seems like a speck of dust.


14. Однако Мастер понимает, что величие жителей неба само по себе не существует, ибо присущее им величие исходит из Беспредельного. А это значит, что жители неба беспредельны в своем величии, будучи одним с ним. Поэтому созерцать естественное и настраиваться на величие жителей неба есть одно.
14. However, the Master understands that the greatness of the inhabitants of heaven does not exist in itself, for their inherent greatness comes from the Infinite. And this means that the inhabitants of heaven are infinite in their greatness, being one with it. Therefore, to contemplate the natural and to attune oneself to the greatness of the inhabitants of heaven is one.


15. Сначала величие возникает как временная вспышка, слабый вкус в ученике, благодаря общению с Мастером или памятованию себя.
15. At first, greatness arises as a temporary flash, a faint taste in the disciple, due to communication with the Master or self-remembering.


16. Ученик его чувствует как благоговение перед тайной Беспредельного, восхищение Духом Мастера, всеохватывающий восторг и возвышенное настроение, когда его касается мощь и величие Беспредельного. Затем оно проникает в ученика и становится постоянным ощущением себя.
16. The disciple feels it as reverence for the mystery of the Infinite, admiration for the Spirit of the Master, all-encompassing delight and exalted mood when the power and grandeur of the Infinite touches him. Then it penetrates the disciple and becomes a constant sense of self.


17. Когда ученик его пестует, оно вырастает в величие Беспредельного, которое, словно водопад, сметает все грезы и сны разума ученика, меняет его самооценку и ощущение мира.
17. When the disciple nurtures it, it grows into the grandeur of the Infinite, which, like a waterfall, sweeps away all the dreams and fantasies of the disciple's mind, changes his self-esteem and sense of the world.


18. Когда Мастер обретает беспредельное величие, он узнает себя как Беспредельное. Тогда жители неба, хранители знаний, небесные странники приветствуют его у входа в поле Игр Беспредельного.
18. When the Master attains the Infinite grandeur, he recognizes himself as the Infinite. Then the inhabitants of heaven, the keepers of knowledge, the heavenly wanderers greet him at the entrance to the field of the Games of the Infinite.
