В те дни вышло от кесаря Августа повеление сделать перепись по всей земле.
In those days, the command of Augustus came out from Caesar Augustus to make a census throughout the earth.
Эта перепись была первая в правление Квириния Сириею.
This census was the first in the reign of Quirinia Syria.
И пошли все записываться, каждый в свой город.
And all went to sign up, each in his city.
Пошел также и Иосиф из Галилеи, из города Назарета, в Иудею, в город Давидов, называемый Вифлеем, потому что он был из дома и рода Давидова,
Joseph from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, called Bethlehem also went, because he was from the house and family of Davidov,
записаться с Мариею, обрученною ему женою, которая была беременна.
Sign up with Maria, a wife who was engaged to him, who was pregnant.
Когда же они были там, наступило время родить Ей;
When they were there, it was time to give birth to her;
и родила Сына своего Первенца, и спеленала Его, и положила Его в ясли, потому что не было им места в гостинице.
And she gave birth to the son of her first -born, and sang him, and laid him in a nursery, because they had no place in the hotel.
В той стране были на поле пастухи, которые содержали ночную стражу у стада своего.
In that country, there were shepherds on the field, who contained the night guard at the herd.
Вдруг предстал им Ангел Господень, и слава Господня осияла их; и убоялись страхом великим.
Suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone them; And they were afraid of a great fear.
И сказал им Ангел: не бойтесь; я возвещаю вам великую радость, которая будет всем людям:
And the angel told them: do not be afraid; I announce you a great joy that will be all people:
ибо ныне родился вам в городе Давидовом Спаситель, Который есть Христос Господь;
For now the Savior was born to you in the city of David, who is Christ the Lord;
и вот вам знак: вы найдете Младенца в пеленах, лежащего в яслях.
And here you have a sign: you will find a baby in a veil lying in a nursery.
И внезапно явилось с Ангелом многочисленное воинство небесное, славящее Бога и взывающее:
And suddenly a large army of heaven, glorifying God and appealing with an angel:
слава в вышних Богу, и на земле мир, в человеках благоволение!
Glory to God, and on Earth, the world, in human powder!
Когда Ангелы отошли от них на небо, пастухи сказали друг другу: пойдем в Вифлеем и посмотрим, что там случилось, о чем возвестил нам Господь.
When the angels moved away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to each other: let's go to Bethlehem and see what happened there, which the Lord announced to us about.
И, поспешив, пришли и нашли Марию и Иосифа, и Младенца, лежащего в яслях.
And, having hastened, they came and found Maria and Joseph, and the baby lying in the nursery.
Увидев же, рассказали о том, что было возвещено им о Младенце Сем.
Seeing, they talked about what was announced by him about the baby.
И все слышавшие дивились тому, что рассказывали им пастухи.
And all those who heard were marched by what the shepherds told them.
А Мария сохраняла все слова сии, слагая в сердце Своем.
And Maria retained all these words, composed in her heart.
И возвратились пастухи, славя и хваля Бога за все то, что слышали и видели, как им сказано было.
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for everything that they heard and saw how they were told.
По прошествии восьми дней, когда надлежало обрезать Младенца, дали Ему имя Иисус, нареченное Ангелом прежде зачатия Его во чреве.
After eight days, when it was necessary to trim the baby, they gave him the name Jesus, called by an angel before the conception of him in the womb.
А когда исполнились дни очищения их по закону Моисееву, принесли Его в Иерусалим, чтобы представить пред Господа,
And when the days of cleansing them were fulfilled according to the law of Moiseev, they brought him to Jerusalem to imagine before the Lord,
как предписано в законе Господнем, чтобы всякий младенец мужеского пола, разверзающий ложесна, был посвящен Господу,
As prescribed in the law of the Lord, so that every baby of the male gender, opening Lozhe, be dedicated to the Lord,
и чтобы принести в жертву, по реченному в законе Господнем, две горлицы или двух птенцов голубиных.
And in order to sacrifice two throats or two pigeon chicks in the rule of the Lord, according to the rule of the Lord.
Тогда был в Иерусалиме человек, именем Симеон. Он был муж праведный и благочестивый, чающий утешения Израилева; и Дух Святый был на нем.
Then there was a man in Jerusalem, the name of Simeon. He was the righteous and pious husband, the consizing the consolation of Israel; And the Holy Spirit was on him.
Ему было предсказано Духом Святым, что он не увидит смерти, доколе не увидит Христа Господня.
He was predicted by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death, as long as he would not see Christ of the Lord.
И пришел он по вдохновению в храм. И, когда родители принесли Младенца Иисуса, чтобы совершить над Ним законный обряд,
And he came by inspiration to the temple. And when the parents brought the baby Jesus to make a legal rite over him,
он взял Его на руки, благословил Бога и сказал:
He took him in his arms, blessed God and said:
Ныне отпускаешь раба Твоего, Владыко, по слову Твоему, с миром,
Now you let go of your servant, Vladyko, according to your word, with the world,
ибо видели очи мои спасение Твое,
for they saw the eyes of my salvation,
которое Ты уготовал пред лицем всех народов,
which you have prepared before the face of all peoples,
свет к просвещению язычников и славу народа Твоего Израиля.
The light to enlighten the Gentiles and the glory of your Israel's people.
Иосиф же и Матерь Его дивились сказанному о Нем.
Joseph and his mother marveled at what was said about him.
И благословил их Симеон и сказал Марии, Матери Его: се, лежит Сей на падение и на восстание многих в Израиле и в предмет пререканий, -
And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: he, this falls on the fall and on the uprising of many in Israel and in the subject of bothering, -
и Тебе Самой оружие пройдет душу, да откроются помышления многих сердец.
And the weapon will pass the soul to you, may the thoughts of many hearts open.
Тут была также Анна пророчица, дочь Фануилова, от колена Асирова, достигшая глубокой старости, прожив с мужем от девства своего семь лет,
There was also Anna the Prophetitsa, the daughter of Fanuilova, from the knee of Asirov, who reached a deep old age, having lived with her husband from his virginity seven years,
вдова лет восьмидесяти четырех, которая не отходила от храма, постом и молитвою служа Богу день и ночь.
A widow of eighty -four years old, who did not leave the temple, with a post and prayer, serving God day and night.
И она в то время, подойдя, славила Господа и говорила о Нем всем, ожидавшим избавления в Иерусалиме.
And at that time she, coming up, praised the Lord and spoke about him to everyone who was waiting for the deliverance in Jerusalem.
И когда они совершили все по закону Господню, возвратились в Галилею, в город свой Назарет.
And when they did everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galileo, to their city Nazareth.
Младенец же возрастал и укреплялся духом, исполняясь премудрости, и благодать Божия была на Нем.
The baby increased and strengthened in spirit, fulfilling wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.
Каждый год родители Его ходили в Иерусалим на праздник Пасхи.
Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for Easter.
И когда Он был двенадцати лет, пришли они также по обычаю в Иерусалим на праздник.
And when he was twelve years old, they also came according to the custom of Jerusalem for a holiday.
Когда же, по окончании дней праздника, возвращались, остался Отрок Иисус в Иерусалиме; и не заметили того Иосиф и Матерь Его,
When, at the end of the holidays, they returned, the lad Jesus in Jerusalem remained; and did not notice that Joseph and his mother,
но думали, что Он идет с другими. Пройдя же дневной путь, стали искать Его между родственниками и знакомыми
But they thought that he was coming with others. After going through the day, they began to look for him between relatives and acquaintances
и, не найдя Его, возвратились в Иерусалим, ища Его.
And, not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem, looking for him.
Через три дня нашли Его в храме, сидящего посреди учителей, слушающего
Three days later they found him in the temple sitting in the middle of teachers listening
