Psalm 18
1 В конец, псалом Давиду
1 To the end, a psalm to David
(К исполнению. Псалом Давида.)
(To be performed. Psalm of David.)


2 Небеса поведают славу Божию, творение же руку Его возвещает твердь.
2 The heavens declare the glory of God, but the firmament declares the work of His hand.
(Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, о творении же рук Его возвещает твердь.)
(The heavens proclaim the glory of God, but the firmament proclaims the work of His hands.)


3 День дни отрыгает глагол, и нощь нощи возвещает разум.
3 The day vomits out the days, and the mind proclaims the night of the night.
(День дню изливает речь, и ночь ночи возвещает знание.)
(Day speaks to day, and night to night proclaims knowledge.)


4 Не суть речи, ниже словеса, ихже не слышатся гласи их.
4 Speech is not meaningless, it is lower than words, and their voices are not heard.
(Нет ни наречий, ни языков, на которых не слышатся их голоса.)
(There are no dialects or languages in which their voices are not heard.)


5 Во всю землю изыде вещание их и в концы вселенныя глаголы их. В солнце положи селение Свое,
5 Their messages went out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. Place Your village in the sun,
(Во всю землю вышел голос их, и в концы вселенной речи их. В солнце Он устроил обитель Свою,)
(Their voice went out into the whole earth, and their speech to the ends of the universe. He made His abode in the sun,)


6 и Той, яко Жених исходяй от чертога Своего, возрадуется, яко Исполин тещи путь.
6 And He, as the Bridegroom proceeds from His palace, will rejoice, as the Giant of the mother-in-law is the way.
(и оно, как жених, выходящий из брачного чертога своего, возрадуется, как исполин, пробежать путь.)
(and it, like a bridegroom coming out of his bridal chamber, will rejoice like a giant to run the way.)


7 От края небесе исход Его, и сретение Его до края небесе, и несть иже укрыется теплоты Его.
7 From the ends of the heavens His coming forth, and His meeting to the ends of the heavens, and none that are hidden from His warmth.
(От края небес восход его, и нисхождение его – до края небес, и никто не укроется от теплоты его.)
(Its rise from the edge of heaven, and its descent to the edge of heaven, and no one can hide from its warmth.)


8 Закон Господень непорочен, обращаяй душы, свидетельство Господне верно, умудряющее младенцы.
8 The law of the Lord is blameless, converting souls, the testimony of the Lord is sure, making children wise.
(Закон Господень непорочен, обращающий души, свидетельство Господне верно, умудряющее младенцев;)
(The law of the Lord is blameless, converting souls, the testimony of the Lord is sure, making children wise;)


9 Оправдания Господня права, веселящая сердце, заповедь Господня светла, просвещающая очи.
9 The righteousness of the Lord is right, gladdening the heart, the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.
(повеления Господни правы, веселящие сердце, заповедь Господня светла, просвещающая очи;)
(the commandments of the Lord are right, gladdening the heart, the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes;)


10 Страх Господень чист, пребываяй в век века: судьбы Господни истинны, оправданы вкупе,
10 The fear of the Lord is pure, endure forever: the destinies of the Lord are true, justified together,
(страх Господень чист, пребывающий во век века, суды Господни истинны, праведны все вместе,)
(the fear of the Lord is pure, abiding forever, the judgments of the Lord are true, righteous all together,)


11 вожделенны паче злата и камене честна многа, и слаждша паче меда и сота.
11 They are desirable more than gold, and precious stones are in abundance, and sweeter than honey and honeycomb.
(вожделеннее золота и многих камней драгоценных, и слаще мёда и сота.)
(more desirable than gold and many precious stones, and sweeter than honey and honeycomb.)


12 Ибо раб Твой хранит я, внегда сохранити я, воздаяние много.
12 For I am your servant; I will always keep you; your reward will be great.
(И вот, раб Твой хранит их; в соблюдении их – воздаяние многое.)
(And behold, Your servant keeps them; in keeping them there is much reward.)


13 Грехопадения кто разумеет? От тайных моих очисти мя,
13 Who understands the Fall? Cleanse me from my secrets,
(Согрешения кто поймёт? От тайных дел моих очисти меня)
(Who can understand my sins? Cleanse me from my secret deeds)


14 и от чуждих пощади раба Твоего, аще не обладают мною, тогда непорочен буду и очищуся от греха велика.
14 And spare Thy servant from strangers, if they do not possess me, then I will be blameless and cleansed from great sin.
(и от чуждых сбереги раба Твоего. Если они не овладеют мною, тогда непорочен буду и очищен от греха великого.)
(And protect Your servant from strangers. If they do not take possession of me, then I will be blameless and cleansed from great sin.)


15 И будут во благоволение словеса уст моих, и поучение сердца моего пред Тобою выну, Господи, Помощниче мой и Избавителю мой.
15 And the words of my mouth and the teaching of my heart will be pleasing before You, O Lord, my Helper and my Deliverer.
(И будут во благоволение слова уст моих, и попечение сердца моего пред Тобою всегда, Господи, помощник мой и избавитель мой.)
(And the words of my mouth and the care of my heart will always be before You for good pleasure, O Lord, my helper and my deliverer.)
